The Christmas Box 40/40 Challenge is a fun way to make a positive difference together.

Participants run their own fundraiser, choose a challenge to complete and get donations from their communities to feed families this Christmas!

For example: wash 40 cars, run/cycle 40 km, cook 40 meals, go 40 hours without technology or food, do 40 acts of kindness – whatever the idea is, go for it!

The Challenge starts anytime and ends by December 1st , 2024.

- To fundraise, create a fundraising page on the button above, share your fundraising page, get sponsors as you complete your challenge!
- To donate, you can sponsor anyone doing a fundraiser by using their fundraising link or by searching for them on the 40-40 challenge search box above
- Aim for something challenging but attainable. Be as creative as you want to be!

You don’t have to complete the activity within 40 consecutive hours/days. You can also choose to complete 40 rotations of a suitable activity by the end date: 1 December 2024. Just keep in mind the activity needs to be somewhat challenging.

- If you are doing the challenge, you can choose which city to support when you make your fundraising page. The money donated will fund Christmas Boxes for that city. Keep in mind that this selection cannot be changed.
- The areas included in the Christmas Box 2024 campaign are: Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Invercargill, Kaikohe, Kapiti, Napier, Palmerston North, Rotorua, Tauranga, Tawa, Wellington, Whangarei and Cook Islands.
- Yes, the profile page (display name, fundraiser photo, fundraising goal, your message, end date), donor details, and email address can all be edited after profile creation. To edit, simply visit your Fundraiser Profile from your confirmation email.
- However, the city you choose to donate to cannot be edited after profile creation.
- All funds for the 40/40 challenge need to be in by 1 December 2024, as all fundraising profiles will be offline after this date.
- However, anyone can donate directly to Christmas Box at any time here
